Repurposing old ladders

I had an idea that I wanted an old ladder to hang my throw blankets on in the living room, and possibly use it to hang Christmas stockings on when it was the season for those....   and when I asked Steve about it, he said we have some old ladders in the shed!  So he pull them out and cleaned them up for me... 

We decorated one with grapevines and twinkle lights ...

and, since we need more light in the living room, we hung the other two from the ceiling and decorated with grapevines and bulb lights...

I'm pretty happy with the results!  The best part is that it was a project we worked on together.  Steve did all the physical work, and I supervised  ;)
